Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War Announced for Mobile, Global Pre-Registration Now Open

Upcoming Naval Warfare MMO Inspired by Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” Franchise

Seongnam, SOUTH KOREA – JOYCITY, a Korean game developer and publisher, has announced the start of the Global pre-registration for its upcoming mobile MMO, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War. A new mobile strategy game inspired by the popular Disney blockbuster series, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War features characters, ships and storylines based on the hit movies.

In-game, players will become pirates in the world of the Pirates of the Caribbean and will experience different playstyles with various strategies through building and ship construction and troops training. Furthermore, players can form an alliance to battle against each other or defeat common monsters floating the sea. Equally, players will encounter familiar characters from Pirates of the Caribbean, including “Jack Sparrow,” “Captain Barbossa” and “Will Turner.”

“We’re confident that this mobile game will align with the quality and high entertainment value that fans have come to expect from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise,” said Hanseo Jo, COO, JOYCITY. “Players will be able to experience the same fun and excitement from the game as they’ve felt from the movies themselves.”

Global pre-registration for Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War starts on March 30, 2017. For players who pre-register on Google Play, they will receive a special in-game gift when they reach Castle Level 5.
