Planetside 2 – Game Update #13 is Now Live

Sony Online Entertainment has released Update #13 for its free-to-play MMO, Planetside 2.

The update made several changes to the icy continent of Esamir.

Specifically, Creative Director, Matt Higby, explained,

“A major facelift with virtually every facility and outpost modified and enhanced, with some being completely replaced.”

“The goal with these changes is to enhance gameplay flow and help support the addition of the lattice connections on the continent.”

In addition, Update #13 features:

• 4 weapons
• Improved weapon audio
• Suit slot tuning, and
• Changes to spawns
