PlayStation State of Play Begins Jan. 31

PlayStation announced that it will be hosting its next PlayStation State of Play this week. It will begin on Wednesday, January 31st at 2PM PT/5PM ET on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. It promises to include 15 games that will be on PlayStation 5, VR2, and “beyond.” The “and beyond” is most likely regarding any games coming to PC later this year and after.

The last time Sony blessed us, with a Stat of Play, was in September 2023. The biggest thing in the State of Play was a release date for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and a long trailer for Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man 2 went on to be released the following month, leading people to speculate that we will be seeing the same treatment given to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth during this one. There’s always the chance that Helldivers 2 is given the treatment instead, but rest assured, we will be seeing both.
