BitSummit 4th will be held on July 9th and 10th at the Miyako Messe hall in Kyoto, Japan, and Q-Games is pleased to announce that they will be there to showcase their experimental VR title Dead Hungry, and to celebrate the critically and commercially acclaimed title PixelJunk Eden!
With the goals of showing off ambitious and creative content to the world at large, BitSummit was originally begun in 2013 by Q-Games, who will be exhibiting as well as sponsoring for the fourth time.
Q-Games will be showing the VR game Dead Hungry, which originally began as a project given life during an internal game jam held earlier this year!
Players will take on the role of an intrepid food truck cook, tasked with saving the souls of the undead with blessed burgers, fries of the faithful, pious pizzas, and sublime sodas! You’ll be rewarded for originality, but if you fail to meet the minimum flavor requirements or take too long, beware the consequences!
In collaboration with Kyoto restaurant 58 DINER, located near the Miyako Messe venue, a special “58 DINER x Dead Hungry” burger will be sold at BitSummit 4th. After experiencing the game, enjoy the delicious reality!
PixelJunk Eden Exhibition
PixelJunk Eden was originally developed in 2008 and in conjunction with freelance multimedia artist Baiyon, who has now officially become a member of the Q-Games family! To celebrate, Q-Games will be showing development materials and concept art at the “PixelJunk Eden Revisited” corner of the Q-Games area, as well as offering PixelJunk Eden t-shirts from the Whisper Not label, a collaborative effort between Baiyon and creative company MHz (Megahertz), for early purchase! The shirts will be made available for purchase by the general public later this month.
Additionally, the full PixelJunk Eden soundtrack, including tracks from the PixelJunk Eden Encore expansion, will be sold on iTunes! This will be the first time that all 17 PixelJunk Eden tracks are available in one place!
