Nexus Game Studios release their crazy point and click adventure on the App Store The first two episodes are for free!
Alicante, Spain – After the successful release on Android (Google Play) with more than 125,000 downloads within the first month, Spanish developer Nexus Game Studios is happy to announce that Randal’s Monday is now available on iOS. The “Point and Geek adventure” has already been released on Steam, PS4 and Android and now finally enters the App Store with a very juicy offer for you: 2 episodes are for free!
Randal’s Monday is a crazy space-time odyssey in the shape of a classic point and click adventure, featuring countless references to pop culture from the last 30 years, and even some very special cameos! Players use their intuition and Randal’s “questionable” manners to be able to overcome his very own “Groundhog Day.” They dive into a world full of puzzles and extravagant characters and find your redemption.
This new version for iOS offers the same quality as the PC, PS4 and Android versions. No downgrades. The game features 7 episodes: The first 2 episodes are free, the rest is $0,99 each.
Just like in the PC, PS4 and Android versions, Randal’s Monday will be featuring the original voices in English and German and subtitles in Spanish, French, Italian and Russian.
About Randal’s Monday
Randal is the best main character one can ever imagine: he’s kleptomaniac, a sociopath and an awful friend above all. After his friend Matt’s engagement party, waking up on a Monday morning with a massive hung over, Randal finds Matt’s wallet in his pocket. Inside the wallet, there’s that really expensive engagement ring.
It doesn’t take Randal much and long to sell the ring – triggering a fatal curse: Matt commits suicide, and Randal is now supposed to live through the same fateful Monday again and again, doing whatever is needed in order to fix the horrible situation. Randal must recover the ring and his life, before the situation worsens… or the universe collapses
Randal’s Monday features cynical humor, geek culture references and classic point & click adventure gameplay at its best: The game pays tribute to a generation of gamers, readers and viewers of subculture media products. Players will find countless items and references to things they grew up with. Retro video gaming consoles, anyone? Your favorite movies and TV series from the 80s, 90s and 2000s? It’s all in there! Take your time and pixel-hunt each screen for everything that’s in there – whereas the adventure gameplay takes care to use all of today’s comfort features.
Randal’s Monday Features:
- 7 great chapters – gameplay time will depend on how many times you spend in front of the TV in your childhood
- More than 40 different environments carefully hand crafted
- More than 50 characters including repulsive mothers, retired priests and talking skulls
- Jillions of references and homages to geek culture
