The Red Bull Battle Grounds: Dota 2 kicks off today.

Today is the final sprint of the first leg of the Red Bull Battle Grounds: Dota 2 professional gaming tournament circuit. At 2PM PST today (April 28^th), the 5^th and final regional qualifier – the Americas – will kick off, to see who will join the other four victorious teams in the Playoffs, May 5^th – 6^th, at the Red Bull Battle Grounds eSports studio in Santa Monica – the last stop before the grand finals in San Francisco, May 10^th at The Warfield.

The Story So Far:

• Team Malaysia (South East Asia)
• Invictus Gaming (China)
• HellRaiser (Russia)
• Team Secret (EU)

These teams have earned their place in the Playoffs. Competing today (April 28^th) at 2PM PST to win the Americas spot will be:

• Team Tinker
• Not Today
• Root Gaming
• Summer’s Rift (with Red Bull athlete, Jimmy ‘DeMoN’ Ho)

In these final two weeks before the grand finals, May 10^th in San Francisco, The Warfield Theater –  Premiere tickets have sold out, and General Admission are going fast.
