Finally, the developers at Milestone srl have brought another Ride game in the series with Ride 4. I have personally started with Ride 2, and it seems the series has come a long way.
Ride 4 brings a lot of good game modes to the series starting with Campaign mode that feels quite fresh and lets the player choose the Series they want to start out with. I am not a professional racing game player but I have played a good amount of racing games, and Ride 4 is one of the most amazing ones that have stuck with me.
This time, Ride 4 feels a little bit difficult for casual players. The tutorial itself is very brutal – we had to complete the training lap without even going outside of it, or else we would have had to redo the lap all over again. But once you get into it, you start liking the game, as Ride 4 indirectly forces you to fiddle with the bike configurations. As you keep on changing the configurations of the bike during the series, it will make you better at riding with the style that suits you.
Each series has different race modes that provide a different feel for each. There are time trial challenges that will let a player qualify for the specific series; based on the performance in each race or time-trial, the reputation will be added and more credits will be provided to the players. More reputation and experience with certain bikes will let players unlock different brands that can be driven.
There are some amazing customizations provided in Ride 4 that let players create some amazing bikes to their own liking. The overall graphics are extremely amazing as an upgrade to Ride 3, i.e., the previous game in the series. The AI is crazy, as there will be chances that you might crash because of the AI and that is why we have the rewind button, but then again, the player loses the focus requiring them to have to find that rhythm again.
Overall, Ride 4 is an amazing game that lets even a newcomer keep going back to play the game for either customization or challenges and for the experienced player, this will be an amazing addition to play, as the AI feels challenging. I would rate Ride 4 9.6/10 stars for an amazing addition to the game library.
