About Rock It Games’s Bases Loaded II: Second Season and Super Bases Loaded II
The groundbreaking feature of Bases Loaded II: Second Season, which debuted on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989, was the introduction of Player Performance Ratings, which were intended to mimic the highs and lows that every baseball player experienced over a season. Physical, Sensitivity, and Intellectual were the three areas in which pitchers and batters were graded; as the season progressed, their ratings fluctuated. Because managers had to decide whether one of their hitters was in a bad enough slump to merit a few games on the bench, the Player Performance Ratings brought another level of strategy to the game.
Jaleco’s second baseball game for the Super Nintendo was Super Bases Loaded II, which had a battery backup to store statistics for all 14 teams in the game’s two made-up leagues as well as the four “edit” teams. It was the first baseball game on the SNES to use a DSP-1 chip for 3D-like camera effects (Mode 7).
Jaleco Sports: Bases Loaded II: Second Season features five games total including both Bases Loaded II: Second Season (US -NES 1989) and Moero!! Pro Yakyuu ’88 Kettei Ban (Japan-Famicom – 1988), as well as three Super Nintendo/Super Famicom titles: Super Bases Loaded II (US-SNES- 1994), Super 3D Baseball (Japan-Super Famicom -1992) and Hanguk Pro Yagu (Korea – Super Comboy – 1994).
Jaleco Sports: Goal! Two includes four games – three from the Nintendo Entertainment System/Famicom era – Goal! Two (US-NES-1989), Goal! 2 (Europe-NES-1989), Goal! (Japan – Famicom -1989) – and one title from the Super Nintendo, Super Goal! 2 (US-SNES – 1992).

About Goal! Two and Super Goal! 2
The top-down view of the original Goal! was replaced by an angled above view with a scrolling screen in Goal! Two.
Goal now has eight more teams! You can select your 11 starters based on their stats, and the total team roster size is 15 players.
With a side-scrolling field, 24 foreign teams, instant replays, and full-field radar views, Super Goal! 2, the SNES sequel, improved upon the original. Additionally, it added additional player control and four defensive formations as strategic alternatives.
