Star Wars Showcases: A Galaxy of Reveals
Star Wars fans were treated to an incredible lineup of panels, activations, and announcements! The Lucasfilm Publishing panel (“Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away”) spotlighted upcoming comics and books, including the finale of The High Republic Phase III with Charles Soule’s Trials of the Jedi, terrifying new tales, a fresh Bad Batch mini-series (Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch: Rogue Agents), and exciting looks at projects like Legacy of Vader, Doctor Aphra, and more. Authors and artists shared behind-the-scenes stories, new art reveals, and a celebration of 50 years of Industrial Light & Magic.Hasbro’s Star Wars Brand Panel brought the collectibles heat with new Black Series figures (including Jango Fett, exclusive Anakin & Obi-Wan sets, and Mace Windu vs. Darth Sidious packs), plus the launch of a massive Vintage Collection LAAT/i Gunship HasLab project!
Immersive activations like the Coca-Cola x Star Wars “Refresh Your Galaxy” HOLOCREATOR experience let fans step into the galaxy with holographic fun. The energy was electric, especially with special appearances and panels highlighting the future of Star Wars animation and storytelling.
SDCC 2025 proved once again that gaming — and epic franchises like Star Wars — are unstoppable forces in pop culture. The fusion of interactive experiences, community, surprise reveals, and galactic-scale fandom made this one for the books.
