In honor of the much awaited “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” movie, which is scheduled for release later this month, SEGA today revealed that Sonic Dream Team will receive a few themed updates. These include the 3D Sonic the Hedgehog action-platformer, which can only be played on Apple Arcade, as well as Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces, which are accessible on the App Store and Google Play.
Updates for Sonic Dash will be available on December 20, 2024
- Get your hands on your favorite Sonic movie actors! Get Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic by collecting cards, and get extra benefits by collecting collectibles every day!
- In January 2025, Sonic Dash+ on the Apple Arcade will also get improvements with a shadow motif!
Updates for Sonic Forces will be available on December 12, 2024
A fresh adventure. A new adversary. At the Sonic Movie Mobile events, you can play as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and all of your other favorite characters. Test your talents as you race through the brand-new Metro-city Zone, which features three brand-new tracks!
Update for Sonic Dream Team available on December 18, 2024
- New challenges and playable shadows!
- Take control of Shadow by diving into Tails’ challenges! Gain new rewards, unlock Shadow for use in Adventure, and complete unique Challenge levels.
- Use Shadow’s unique skills, Chaos Control and Chaos Shift, to manipulate time. While you rip through levels to get your objective, lock down foes and the surrounding area.
- New Powers!
- With the new Shadow awards, you can add a new set of Powers to your loadouts!
- All characters have access to Quick Grind, Perfect Jump, Chain Attack, and Perfect Boost, however Shadow is the only one with Double Chaos Shift and Extended Chaos Control.
- Statues and new music!
- Tails’ Challenges now include six new Shadow-themed sculptures and additional fan-favorite songs for players to add to their collections.
- A new tutorial
- To aid new players in becoming familiar with the game, a completely revised instructional level has been introduced. The moment to try Sonic Dream Team has never been greater!
You may get Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces from Google Play and the App Store. Playable on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, Sonic Dream Team is only available via Apple Arcade.
