The wonderful game of Shadow Tactics: Blades of Shogun by publisher Daedalic Entertainment and German developer Mimimi Productions released again for PS4 this time. We already explained the full PC review about the game and gameplay style previously. This time without taking much screen space we are going forward to the PS4 review.
The only difference in the gameplay is using a controller. The game has been ported really well for PS4; there are some places with framerate drops where players will feel it is really going down a bit. I personally thought how is the developer going to take care of the controls for PS4, as this is going to be played using a controller.
After playing it was kind of not so tough to handle the single character at first. But when we had two players to work with, it gets tougher because this was kind of hard changing cameras and players and scrolling through different weapons and tactics. In short, the controls are really well thought of by the developers. But I personally prefer to play this game on a PC because of the ease of play with mouse specifically for this genre itself.
The problems most of the time I had were dealing with different characters and different tool at the same. Something that I really like is the movement and shadow mode has been really simplified for the console.
I would still stick to my same ratings for the game of 10, because of well thought design and control structure.
