The Critically Applauded Nintendo 3DS Classic Hits Retail Today in the USA, South America, and Canada
Los Angeles, CA – Videogame publisher Rising Star Games has announced that the physical edition of the much-loved platform adventure game Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, is now available in the USA, South America and Canada featuring content not available in any previously released version.
Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse on Nintendo 3DS enjoys outstanding review scores from media across the globe and is a well-established fan-favorite. The game currently boasts a Metacritic score of 82*.
NintendoLife awards the game a ‘9 out of 10’ score in its review, declaring it “excellent” and “an exceptionally well-crafted game that should not be ignored.” Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is hailed as “exemplary… fun, varied and challenging” in HardcoreGamer‘s ‘4.5 out of 5’ review, which goes on to state that “the music, animation and artwork in this game are all top-of-the-line.”
Leading global entertainment portal IGN heaps praise upon the game’s “funny, gorgeous world” and its “visual splendor… sharp wit and bold style,” with a ‘8.5 out of 10’ review. NintendoWorldReport states that Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is “a must-play game… this is something special,” and scores the game ‘9 out of 10’.
Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is Shantae’s third and biggest adventure to date. The hair-whipping belly dancing genie must team up with her arch-nemesis, the nefarious Risky Boots, in order to save Sequin Land from an evil curse. By becoming a pirate, Shantae gains new weapons she can use to solve fiendish puzzles and battle fierce bosses. In a game already packed with thrilling content the physical boxed retail release also includes “Super Shantae Nab!!”, a new arcade-style game exclusive to this release.
