In the first of two promotional trailers for the game, ATLUS today revealed a mask collaboration between the iconic heavy metal band Slipknot and their new role-playing game, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The cooperation between Slipknot and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, two famous forces that are not just comparable but unabashedly metal, will be explored in these videos through shared themes, imagery, and moods.
In the first video, three separate masks based on the demons in the game are made by Jim Ojala of Ojala Productions, the company that makes many of Slipknot’s masks. As he and his crew create masks inspired by the demons Gurulu, Daemon, and Loup-Garou, Jim explains the design process for the distinguishing images for Slipknot and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. Watch the ATLUS West social media pages and YouTube channel for the release of the second promotional video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, which features members of the Slipknot band!

A comprehensive role-playing game, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance delves into two distinct story arcs: the Canon of Creation from the original game, or the brand-new Canon of Vengeance. In this latest edition in the series, a dramatic new tale of revenge is presented along with new characters, a new location to explore, a new dungeon, enhanced gameplay, an updated battle system, new adventures with demons, and more field exploring.
On June 14, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will be accessible on Windows, Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Pre-order the game right now for all platforms.
