Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have released “Explore & Expand,” the second season of post-launch content for the hit off-road driving game SnowRunner. This truckload of new treats is available today on PC, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. Season 2 introduces new gameplay mechanics, maps, vehicles, and customization items, as well as bonus free content for all players.
SnowRunner Season 2 Key Features:
- Two new maps set in Canada’s vast Yukon territory: Flooded Foothills and Big Salmon Peak. Both maps are 4km² and mean SnowRunner is now 50% larger than it was at launch!
- Three new vehicles: the CAT 770G, the largest truck ever in the franchise; the CAT TH357D AG, a versatile forklift; and the KRS 58 “Bandit,” an 8×8 with a built-in light crane for rescue missions.
- Pioneering new gameplay: Gather resources and use the new cargo crafting system to build a huge ore processing plant from the ground up to help bring the wilderness under control.
- New customization upgrades, including interior and exterior items.
The Season 2: “Explore & Expand” DLC is available today as part of SnowRunner’s Season Pass and SnowRunner – Premium Edition, as well as via standalone purchase.
Today’s update also brings tons of free content for all players, including two new Trials, new missions in the Taymyr and Alaska regions, and bonus cosmetic options.
SnowRunner is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One (Check Out Our Review!), and PC. SnowRunner’s Premium Edition, which includes the full game and its Season Pass, can be purchased on the official store.
