SAN FRANCISCO — Today, Ubisoft announced that Space Junkies, the arcade shooter developed exclusively for VR, is available now for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality. Space Junkies is playable cross-platform and is available for the suggested retail price of $39.99.
Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, Space Junkies features visceral multiplayer competition set in three-dimensional space arenas and leverages full VR embodiment to immerse players in intense microgravity battles. The game includes four different PvP modes playable across several unique maps as well as a variety of characters each with unique characteristics. Additionally, Space Junkies will receive regular new content beyond release, including new modes, new maps, weapons and customization items.
