Splatoon 3: Grand Festival Starts Sept. 12 for 72-Hours

The largest Splatfest occasion ever for the Nintendo Switch system of Splatoon 3, the Grand Festival, is rapidly approaching! It will take place from September 12 at 5 p.m. PT to September 15 at 5 p.m. PT. During that time, players will compete to splat their opponents in order to answer the question, “Which is the most important to you: Past, Present, or Future?” for 72 hours straight.

Dive in for More Splatoon 3: Grand Festival Deets:

Employees of Grizzco will be required to report for work prior to the Grand Festival for the upcoming Big Run event, which will be held in the Grand Splatlands Bowl starting on September 6 at 5:00 p.m. PT and ending on September 8 at 5:00 p.m. PT. Everyone who takes part in this Big Run will receive in-game fish scale awards; however, this will only happen if the 700,000,000 Golden Egg requirement is met globally. So, don’t be lazy and get out there!

Splatoon ensembles Off the Hook, Deep Cut, and Squid Sisters will all perform at the Grand Festival, which begins with a rotation of three different stages (there’s talk that the scaffolding in front of the Giant Clam stage will make for a wonderful photo op). During the last 24 hours of the Splatfest, they will then come together as one giant group, the Now or Never Seven, to perform their newest hit, “Three Wishes.” Players can use special emotes to express themselves and get into the mood during the entire festival.

Pay attention! Tricolor Battles between three teams will be accessible from the outset of Splatfest. For the first 48 hours of the event, every previous Tricolor Battle stage—including Scorch Gorge, which was previously only available at the Splatfest with the Legend of Zelda theme—will be back and in rotation. The Grand Splatlands Bowl, a special Tricolor Battle stage, will be unveiled over the last twenty-four hours. If you manage to get the Ultra Signal on this stage, either the Off the Hook, Deep Cut, or Squid Sisters will show out to support you!

In search of a new photo opportunity? A selfie with any of the three musical groups on the Giant Clam stage is available to all Splatfest participants who advance to the “Ruler” rank. Attain Ruler status to represent the Splatlands with the Deep Cut pose. Additionally, owners of the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass DLC can unlock poses for Off the Hook and the Squid Sisters! A new posture can also be unlocked by players who advance to a title higher than Ruler.

Each has a unique piece of equipment, and you may snap pictures with them when you visit Splatsville’s amiibo box and scan the amiibo figures. Here are two new videos that contain information on these amiibo figures:

Splatoon 3 is a vibrant action shooter where you can ink and swim! Engage in recurrent Splatfests (which feature wild three-team Tricolor Battles) and offline single-player campaigns as you fight against hordes of Salmonids in 4-v-4 Turf War matches both online and offline. You can also explore Alterna’s mysteries in the offline single-player campaign. A dynamic single-player experience called Side Order is included in the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass, which is currently available. It’s meant to be played again in a world devoid of color.
