Spooky Pinball, Inc. – everyone’s favorite pinball manufacturer for all things kooky, spooky, and ooky, have today announced the release of the long-anticipated Evil Dead Pinball machine. A license often requested in the industry (especially by yours truly), Spooky looks hellbent on continuing their devotion to theme in their games, with complete access to movie clips and sounds from the first two films in the franchise, The Evil Dead, and Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn.
Check out The Evil Dead Pinball Video:
“Evil Dead Collector’s Edition $9,999 plus tax and shipping when applicable (Shipping will be calculated when game is ready to ship). Evil Dead Pinball is a wide body pinball machine set in the the world of the first two films of the iconic franchise, The Evil Dead, and Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn. The players will be guided along by Ashley Williams, voiced by Bruce Campbell, as they battle the relentless forces of evil. Ash’s now evil girlfriend Linda (voiced by Lara Sluyter) and Professor Knowby (Voiced by Scott Innes) will provide an additional level of Deadite trickery and direction to the game. Evil Dead Pinball is our most ambitious game to date, featuring the highest number of mechs in a Spooky Pinball machine yet. The game also features original clips, speech, and sfx from both films. Evil Dead Pinball is the 4th game by the designer duo “Spooky Luke” and Corwin “Bug” Emery. Many other Spooky crew members have returned for this release, including Ben Heck on the code, Matt Montgomery providing the score, Back Alley Creations, on the sculpts. This is also the first in a series of many Spooky Pinball games featuring a full art package by Christopher Franchi. It’s time to officially “Join Us” in what we can confidently say is our most beautiful, most loaded, most impressive world under glass yet.”
Additionally, there is an amazing custom Cheryl topper designed by Gary J. Tunnicliffe, the renowned horror special makeup FX designer:
“Introducing the officially licensed Evil Dead Pinball Interactive Cheryl Topper! If you want the most sinister Evil Dead experience, what better way than having Deadite Cheryl crawling out of the top of your game and into your arcade room? This topper was designed by Horror Special Makeup FX designer Gary J. Tunnicliffe and will be the staple topper in your game room. This motorized RGB lit topper puts you right in the cabin to experience true Deadite horror for yourself. Cheryl is trying to escape the cellar, and she isn’t trying peacefully! Raising her head up and down, making the chains rattle, and reaching out at you with her hands, this is the most lively (or unalively?) topper yet. Don’t get too close! And all of this crazy commotion won’t come quietly! The Cheryl Topper features dozens of original movie callouts. Whether it’s in the middle of an intense multiball or while your game is quietly sitting in attract mode, Cheryl is sure to make her presence known. For the price of $1399, your Evil Dead is taken to the next undead level!”
One of the biggest draws for fans will without a doubt be Bruce Campbell himself returning to voice Ashley J. Williams in call outs to guide the player through all of the gore-drenched halls of that infamous cabin in the woods. Joining him as Dr. Knowby will be Scott Innes, returning from Spooky’s Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, as well as Lara Sluyter as Ash’s girlfriend, Linda. Ever so more inviting you into the twisted world of The Evil Dead is astounding artwork by Christopher Franchi, molds by Back Alley Creations, and Gary J. Tunnicliffe’s Cheryl topper to act as that “cherry on top.” To say my jaw is dropped is undermining it. I think it more resembles what the Necronomicon did to Ash, circa the medieval ages.
This Friday, November 22nd, 2024, will see a full reveal for the game as well as a Q&A session. I will be back tomorrow with all the details, but for more information, stay tuned to Gaming Cypher ands check out https://www.spookypinball.com/ and check out designer Corwin “Bug” Emery’s weekly Bug’s Scream n’ Stream (https://www.twitch.tv/bugs_scream_n_stream). Hail to the king, baby!

Your local neighborhood nutjob, gamer, and teacher! I'm an avid fan of many genres such as platformers, shooters, horror, etc. I am also an avid tabletop gamer - hugely into the worlds of Warhammer and all of their spinoffs. I'm a big believer in being objective - even if something is not my cup of tea, I want to talk about it on the objective level - is it well made, crafted with love, and with care for the fans? If so, that's a good game in my book for someone and well worth their hard earned dollarydoos!
