Former LA Clippers and MLB Corporate Sponsorship Director Jordan Sherman Joins Gen.G Esports as Head of Sponsorships and Revenue Operations
SAN FRANCISCO – Global eSports organization and industry leader Gen.G further elevates the company’s Gold Standard eSports experience with the appointment of Jordan Sherman to the position of Head of Sponsorships and Revenue. In this new role, Sherman applies nearly a decade of sports industry experience in sponsorship sales, business development, strategic planning and digital media, and provides cohesive vision and direction to connect eSports players, fans and brands around the world.
Sherman got his start in the sports business with Major League Baseball Advanced Media and the Los Angeles Clippers. While at Major League Baseball, Jordan was responsible for leveraging the league’s significant reach to create innovative digital marketing, sponsorship and content opportunities for prominent national brands. Sherman expanded his corporate sponsorship career with the LA Clippers as Director of New Business, generating annual revenue for the team via digital, social, point of sale and in-arena activations.

Gen.G recently announced its entrance to Supercell’s Clash Royale League, and Gen.G’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) teams, Gen.G Black and Gen.G Gold, placed 1st and 2nd, respectfully in the first complete season of the AfreecaTV PUBG League.
