The Latest Video Game News and Reviews

Sports Video Games We Never Had

It is no secret that sports video games are some of the most popular games on the market. Gamers love to get their hands on the latest and greatest titles that allow them to step into the shoes of their favorite athletes. However, there have been a few sports that have never received their own video game.

Indeed, while we have seen some of the biggest sports all receive the video game treatment such as football/soccer, American football, boxing, golf, tennis, etc. – there are a handful of popular sports that are regularly participated around the world with reasonable followings that are yet to get their own video game, or at least, one that is memorable.

In this blog post, we will take a look at five sports that we would love to see receive their own video game!

Sports Video Games We Never Had

Horse Racing

Horse racing is one of the most popular sports in the world, with many different countries hosting their own races. The sport is one that is regularly wagered on by bettors who use the available SA horseracing markets available at Betway, and there is no doubt that they would love to experience the same kind of thrill that they get from wagering on the horses when playing a game that involves them!

While there have been a few horse racing games over the years, none of them have been able to capture the true feeling of horse racing. It would be amazing to see a game that allowed gamers to experience what it is like to ride a horse at breakneck speeds! Perhaps you could ride as a jockey and look to create a successful career, or become one of the top trainers? There are a number of possibilities that can be explored!

Volleyball

Volleyball is another sport that has a passionate fan base, as well as a betting base on Betway, but has yet to see its own video game. Volleyball games would be a lot of fun, as they would require gamers to use both their physical and mental skills. It would also be interesting to see how developers could create unique gameplay mechanics that would make volleyball even more enjoyable to play!

Dodgeball

Dodgeball is a sport that is often associated with childhood, but it is actually a very popular sport in many different countries. There is no denying that its popularity managed to escalate once the movie “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” was released in 2004, however it has always been a top game that has widely been played. Dodgeball games would be fast-paced and full of excitement, as players would need to avoid being hit by the ball while also trying to hit their opponents.

Squash

Squash is a sport that is enjoyed by many but has yet to receive its own video game. Given the technology that can now be found within video games, a squash title would be a great way to get gamers moving, as they would need to use their quick reflexes to avoid being hit by the ball.

Final Thoughts

These are just five sports that we would love to see have their own video games created in the future, with each of them deserving of a title!
