Developer Offworld, along with publisher Knights Peak, announced that Starship Troopers: Extermination patch 1.6, which is now live, has a ton of new problems (of the exoskeleton-toting kind) as well as glitchy ones that have been repaired!
In the battle against the arachnid threat, this “Critical Strike” patch represents a significant advancement. A revamped Bugs Spawning System, new gear, a new game mode called Critical Strike, and much more are all included in Starship Troopers: Extermination!

Critical Strike is a brand-new game mode in Starship Troopers: Extermination, which was added with update 1.6. Since the game’s October 2024 debut, this is the first additional mode to be added.
Large subsurface Archigeon reserves have been detected by Federation scans following meteor strikes on isolated regions of Agni Prime and Valaka. Retrieving it will require the best of the best to march headlong into bug territory. To seize the Archnigeon for the Federation, troopers will engage in combat apart from their fellow squads and clear a route through these uncharted territories while battling through hordes of insects!
Four groups. There are four distinct drop zones. Reach the meteorite site, reassemble, and re-arm in a single mission. Troopers need to remain vigilant because the largest bugs the Arachnids have to offer are swarming this area and launching a full-scale attack.
