Dog Eat Dog Games has announced that the action-packed space shooter Stellar will begin closed beta testing in May.
In Stellar, gamers try to gain control a vast procedurally generated universe by defeating enemy alien civilizations.
The player’s species has two special skills, the ability to shift perspective from a 3D to 2D view to simplify combat and the ability to improve their own spacecraft and weapons with pieces dropped by defeated enemy bosses.
Dog Eat Dog Games will be seeking funding on Kickstarter to add content, improve the user interface, music and to develop Stellar for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If the campaign generates more than $40,000 Stellar will also be released on Oculus Rift.
