Greetings Gamers, Greg here from Gaming Cypher here to talk about Superfuse, a sci-fi dungeon crawler packing a futuristic space Diablo-style game from the Developer Stitch Heads and Publisher Raw Fury. Gaming Cypher got a sneak peek into a distant future comic-book-styled hack-and-slash ARPG.
Players can choose from three different classes: Elementalist (my favorite,) Berserker, or Technomancer. Each one of these characters has unique talent trees and skills. You can change up how you play a character, though, by choosing different abilities. The Elementalist, for example, can have a base tree of either fire or ice, but from there you can build out a very diverse set of moves and vary the play style to the player’s liking. Choosing from things such as more melee centric or long-range play styles being more defensive or aggressive, or even, since this can be played online, how you mesh as a team. Currently, though, if you start a game offline, you cannot take it online and vice versa. The benefit to having a local game is mostly the ability to still play without an internet connection. When you play online you can still choose to be solo or play with other players.
The campaign is estimated at around 5-8 hours, which I am looking forward to playing through. Overall, I think this is going to be an exciting game with a really interesting world that they have built for gamers to explore. So, check back here at Gaming Cypher for more details to come.
Superfuse is now available for PC via Steam Early Access for $24.99.
