SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc.’s mecha-based PvPvE extraction shooter, will be available on PCs and consoles starting today. Players assume control of Drifters, pilots of agile mecha known as CRADLECOFFINS, as they explore and fight through the wreckage of Amasia, a post-apocalyptic world devastated by toxic rain. To recover vital resources for their own life, they must rely on their AI allies, known as Magus, to support them as they fight in a world full with deranged mutant monsters and other players with erratic allegiances.

SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada is set in 2222, years after the majority of humanity was wiped off by an unexplained deadly rain known as “The Tears of the New Moon,” which also gave birth to deformed creatures that now pursue the surviving populace. Players will take on the role of Drifters, fearless mech pilots who earn a living by gathering AO crystals, a rare resource, in this PvPvE extraction shooter. While their Magus AI partner assists them in battle by offering special fighting skills, guidance, tips, and cautions to help them safely navigate the ruins in order to survive and keep the rewards they gather, they operate highly customized CRADLECOFFINS mechs.
Learning how to overcome Amasia’s roaming problems is nearly as crucial to the game as figuring out which player Drifters are trustworthy and who will cheerfully scrap any mech in their way to deprive it of its valuable cargo. The successful Drifters in SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada will be distinguished from the others by the fine balance between risk and reward. In order to obtain resources and credits, they can advance through the ranks and finish objectives. Drifters and their Magus friends live in an underground bunker that they can enhance with scavenged materials. Players must use caution, though, as every foray into the Ruins puts all of the weapons, CRADLECOFFIN pieces, and valuable loot at danger.
Players who pre-ordered the Deluxe or Ultimate editions of SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as for the PC via Steam, can now access the game through Early Access. On January 23, the game will be released in all editions.
