SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (June 1, 2015) – Syrinscape, the app that puts the power of custom, movie-like sound effects, soundscapes, and music, into the hands of the gamer, is thrilled to announce today, it was voted Best Gaming Accessory at UK Games Expo 2015.
Syrinscape made its debut at UK Games Expo this year, with a demo booth in the trade hall, and as sponsor of the popular Pathfinder Special multi-table event, where Syrinscape creator and Dicestormers host, Benjamin Loomes brought the gaming room to life with the immersive sounds of Syrinscape.
“Winning the award for Best Gaming Accessory is a +10 on top of an incredibly warm welcome Syrinscape received for our first trip to UK Games Expo, ” says Benjamin Loomes, creator of Syrinscape. “Dozens of rooms and every corridor were filled with incredible gaming activity, tables, stands, and gamers playing until the early morning hours. We got to introduce Syrinscape to a whole new audience, and I love seeing the infectious grins of people as they use the app for the first time. We’ll be back next year for sure!”
The UK Game Expo Awards were introduced in 2007 to recognize the achievement of manufacturers and publishers in a variety of game genres. Winners are determined by a panel of judges, as well as voted on by convention attendees.
Says Richard Denning, co-owner of UK Games Expo, “Syrinscape is a great product – easy to use, atmospheric, and an exciting aid to RPGs. We were thrilled to have them as a part of UK Games Expo this year, and look forward to seeing them again.”
The Syrinscape app Fantasy Player and Sci-Fi Player bring fantastic, realistic sound to tabletop gaming. Each is available to try for free, and can be completely unlocked for free for 30 days, and each comes with two free SoundSets to keep after the trial. The Syrinscape app is compatible with a wide range of devices, including PC, Mac, Android Tablets, and iPads. To download the free Sci-Fi Player, or Syrinscape Fantasy Player, with an extensive library of sounds for fantasy gaming, including the official sounds for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, visit Syrinscape.
