CALABASAS, Calif. — June 16, 2016 —Terraria, the sandbox action-adventure crafting game from 505 Games and creator-developer Andrew Spinks’ Re-Logic, is now available on Wii U digitally in North America via the Nintendo eShop for $30. Physical editions of Terraria are set for release on June 24 in Europe and June 28 in North America.
Terraria is the best-selling side-scrolling action-adventure that blends traditional 2D combat systems with expansive crafting mechanics, hundreds of unique weapons, armor and craftable items as well as randomly generated vast pixel worlds with over 150 enemies to encounter.
The Wii U edition features intuitive touchscreen controls for easy access to Terraria’s world, several multiplayer options such as four-player local split-screen co-op and eight-player online multiplayer and the ability to post achievements on the Miiverse leaderboards to track progress.
