The 2023 Overwatch World Cup has descended on BlizzCon at the Anaheim Convention Center, and the Top 8 teams are ready to battle it out over the next two days in order to crown the first-ever Overwatch 2 World Champion! The action kicked off yesterday, as Team South Korea took on Team Canada in the first of four matches live on Twitch. Here’s the full schedule of yesterday’s matches:
- Team South Korea vs. Team Canada (9:30am PT)
- Team From China vs. Team USA (12:45pm PT)
- Team Great Britain vs. Team Finland (3:15pm PT)
- Team Saudia Arabia vs. Team Spain (4:45pm PT)
With the rest of the tournament being single-elimination, everything is on the line in every match from here on out. Will Team South Korea add to their legacy and claim their 4th World Championship? Will Team USA defend their throne and make it back-to-back World Championships? Or will a new challenger summit the mountain and etch their names in the history books?
Of the four teams that advance from yesterday’s matchups, two will advance to the Overwatch World Cup Grand Finals today, November 4, at 4:45pm PT. You can watch all the live action right here on Twitch.
