The winners of the 5th ceremony of the Pegases Awards have been announced. 19 Pegases awards have been handed to video game development studios and individuals for their contribution to the French video game industry in 2023.

Released in 2014, the Vailant Hearts series embark players in an emotional story taking place during the first world war. Valiant Hearts: Coming Home came out in January 2023 on the Netflix Games platform. The game continues the story where its predecessor ended, in 1917, and follows the tale of two brothers fighting for surviving in the trenches.

A preview of what the French video game industry has in store for 2024
Just Dance, one of the most played French video game worldwide, premiered a brand new dance in partnership with the CNC and the Palace of Versailles for the cultural Olympiad. Players are invited to experience this revisited version of a classical dance having as a background an electric party taking place at the Palace of Versailles.
During the ceremony, no less than four exclusive trailers aired for the very fist time.
The French developer and publisher Microids, specialized in adventure games, showcased its two most anticipated games: Amerzone and Empire of the Ants.
The cozy games development studio Humble Reeds unveiled its next game Kamaru.
Finally, the 12 years old French studio Old Skull Games had its team members share more about the creative process behind their innovative upcoming rogue-builder Cryptical Path.
