Today, Netmarble, a top publisher and developer of top-notch mobile games, declared that the 2025 Solo Leveling: ARISE CHAMPIONSHIP (SLC 2025), the first official worldwide Solo Leveling: ARISE competition, had successfully ended.
The finalists fought for the coveted title of “First Global Champion” in the well-liked mode “Battlefield of Time” at SLC 2025, which took place on April 12 at IVEX Studio in Korea. As the live broadcast attracted thousands of spectators worldwide and tickets for the offline event sold out in less than a minute, fans were giddy with anticipation for the tournament.
To compete in the final rounds, which were held in Korea, 16 finalists—eight from the International League and eight from the Asia League—flew in from all over the world, including players from Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. Following a series of fierce fights, the top four competitors went to the championship match, where OhReung defeated four opponents in a mere 2 minutes and 57 seconds to win the title.
OhReung, expressing excitement at claiming the global title stated, “I’m deeply honored to share this shining moment of becoming a world champion with everyone. As a gesture of support, I will be donating half of my prize money to aid those affected by the recent wildfires in Korea.”
OhReung won an LG Gram Pro 360 laptop and KRW 10 million in cash as the SLC 2025 grand champion. Along with an LG UltraGearTM Gaming Monitor, the runners-up and third-place finalists received KRW 7 million and KRW 3 million, respectively.

The popular webtoon Solo Leveling has been adapted into an action game called Solo Leveling: ARISE. Assuming the character of Jinwoo, users may follow his adventure through the well-known webtoon story directly, leveling up, engaging in intense combat, and constructing their own fighting techniques by choosing different weapon and skill combinations. In addition to forming alliances with webtoon hunters, users can use the famous command, “Arise,” to call forth their own “Army of Shadows.”
