TITANIC VR Fully-Rendered Historical Game Heading to PlayStation this October

Developer Immersive VR, the makers of the best-selling Apollo 11 VR game, has announced that Titanic VR is heading to PlayStation in October.

Based on a meticulous re-creation of the Titanic and its sinking, Titanic VR shows you first-hand the sinking of the Titanic, and gives you the experience of exploring the wreckage from a submersible.

Key Features:

  • The largest virtual cast of characters in VR, based on real people
  • The largest number of acting performances to take place simultaneously in VR
  • Graphics and characterization are based on 800 real-life characters. (Accurate re-creation of 800 real Titanic passengers and crew – will see them assembled on the deck when the ship sinks.) Players observe ship sinking from famous Lifeboat 6.
  • Meticulous re-creation of the ship, the underwater experience. VR gives 360 field of action. Users can also tour every nook and cranny of the ship wreck and interact with artifacts–pick them up and look at them, bring them to the surface and restore.
  • There are six hours of education gameplay where players are tasked with navigating the wreck using the submersible to retrieve artifacts. There are eight dive missions and seven lab missions to choose from.
  • The Titanic VR also has the most accurate retelling of the event based on emotive first-hand audio accounts that play as you explore the wreck
