TOKYO GAME SHOW 2019 has announced various information concerning exhibitors as of August 28.
Largest in history, 2,417 booths 655 exhibitors as of August 28
As of August 28, 2,417 booths (final count last year: 2,338) are expected ― this is the largest-ever scale. The total number of exhibitors is 655, consisting of a record 350 domestic exhibitors (final count last year: 338) and 305 overseas. The number of overseas
exhibitors has marked more than 300 three years in a row.
Booth overviews and the total number of game titles have been released. As of August 28, 1,368 titles are expected (1,322 in the same period last year). The game titles which is in a wide range of genres and for a variety of platforms such as game console, smartphone, and PC will be exhibited in TGS2019. They will include hot new titles, titles featured in the e-Sports and the cutting-edge games supporting the VR (virtual reality).
The final number of game titles, an overview of booths, and other event information are scheduled to be released in the morning of the first day of TOKYO GAME SHOW 2019 (Thursday, September 12).
Exhibitors’ booth overviews and booth events as well as the game titles, as submitted by each exhibitor, will be announced on the TOKYO GAME SHOW 2019 official website and will be updated as needed.
TOKYO GAME SHOW 2019 Updates
- Cosplay Area Stage (outside of Hall 9)
The Cosplay Area Stage will be set up outside of Hall 9 to spread the
allure of cosplay in an effective and multifaceted way. Here, two
events―Cosplay Runway and gatherings―will be held on the Public Day,
Saturday 14 and Sunday 15. - Cosplay Runway
Cosplay Runway will be held by performers of Cosplay Collection Night
held on 14 on the Event Stage of Hall1. Costumes of models are all
originated in the game characters. No admission fee required. Please
come and watch the sophisticated charm of cosplay costumes and performers.
In Cosplay Runway, cosplayers walk and pose on the stage one after
another like a fashion show. In the Cosplay Performance Stage at 2:30pm
on 15, cosplayers make up a unit of two or more persons and perform
dances and skits. - Schedule

- Gathering@TGS2019
The Gathering is the event where cosplayers in the costumes of the
same genres and works get together. Participants can enjoy networking
and shooting. The Gathering of “Final Fantasy” and “Tails” on 14 (Sat)
and “Dynasty Warriors” / “Samurai Warriors” on 15 (Sun) is scheduled
on the Cosplay Area Stage. Group shooting by Management Office and
the press will take place. - Schedule

*The Gathering is held by Show Management Office to provide a place for the fan communities of cosplayers. As it is not an official event by the respective game publishers, please refrain from contacting the respective game publishers for information.
*A photo shooting area will be set aside for media outlets. Media wishing to cover the event should contact the press reception on site.
