TOM CLANCY'S RAINBOW SIX PRO LEAGUE Season 7 Has Begun

Following a record breaking Six Invitational 2018, pro teams are
back on the battleground already

SAN FRANCISCO — March 12, 2018 — Today, Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League Season 7 will begin this week in all four territories worldwide: Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America. Season 7 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Pro League will be a transitional season which will serve as the last season to follow the previous three-month long Pro League format.

Each Year will now be comprised of two six-month long Pro League Seasons. A format that will begin with Season 8 in June 2018. Additional details on the forthcoming Season 8 Pro League format can be found here. Season 7 will be concluded by a Season Final, wherein eight of the world’s best Pro League teams will meet in the USA for a final showdown. Full details on this LAN event, including exact location, will be shared soon.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six eSports scene second year concluded last month with the Six Invitational 2018, the premier event of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six pro scene, gathering 16 of the best Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League teams from across the world, competing for an unprecedented prize pool of $500,000. This landmark event also celebrated the third anniversary of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege release, bringing together the ever-growing community of fans in the game’s birth city of Montreal. Together with Pro players, developers, and streamers, the Six Invitational 2018 reached unprecedented figures, compiling more than 6.2 million hours watched across all channels.
