This season, there are a number of enhancements to player protection and anticheat, including enhanced cheater identification to guarantee fairness. Players that have a mousetrap penalty will be compelled to spend 90 days in the PC matchmaking pool as a result of the introduction of PC and console crossplay. These players will not be able to participate in matchmaking if crossplay is disabled until it is enabled again. Furthermore, games in which a cheater is found will be promptly ended without affecting MMR. Rainbow Six Siege’s continued dedication to player protection is shown in these modifications.
A long-awaited update to Rainbow Six Siege is finally here with Year 9 Season 4: PC and console crossplay! It will now be easy for players to team up and play with friends on various platforms. Squads that include a PC player will be automatically transferred to the PC-matchmaking pool, and console players will have the choice to join the PC player pool. PC gamers won’t be able to join the console matchmaking pool, though. When playing Ranked playlists with crossplay enabled, console players will keep their PC rank distinct from their console rank.
Operation Collision Point presents Blackbeard’s upgraded version along with his H.U.L.L. Adaptable Shield device. With its remarkable capacity to breach barriers, Blackbeard’s improved device, which can extend and contract for use on foot and in rappel, gives him cover wherever he goes. Blackbeard may now take on the other squad, develop fresh plans, and launch new offensive lines while staying safe during his charge thanks to his restored shield. Blackbeard is a one-speed, three-health operator with a D-50 as a secondary weapon and an MK17 CQB or SR-25 as a primary weapon.
The Siege Cup beta is now available on all platforms, so get ready to put your Squad together. Every two weeks, 5-player squads compete in skill-based ladder events for Competitive Coins, which can be used to unlock special skin collections. Siege Cup is our most competitive playlist, accessible to all players above Clearance Level 50.
Along with balance updates for Attacking Operators Ying and Sens, this season also brings changes to Ballistic Shields. To enhance Shield Operator counterplay and provide value to suppressive fire, fewer rounds are required to suppress Shield Operators. This makes it possible for suppression to start earlier and last longer. While shielded, operators won’t be harmed by melee attacks, but the strength of guard breaks from these strikes won’t change. In addition to Sens’ R.O.U. Projectors update, which enables more adaptable and imaginative play, Ying’s rush has been modified to promote more accurate gameplay.
Additional player safety adjustments that improve the Rainbow Six Siege experience are among the other enhancements this season. To give a more comprehensive picture of how various acts impact player status and thresholds for warnings or fines, the Reputation Center has been redesigned. The new Career center will also house account-related data, including rank, reputation, and replays of matches; account statistics will be added soon. At last, users are able to show off their achievements in-game. A player receives a badge to recognize their talent and commitment after finishing a new set of challenges, which they can display on their Operator Card.
You may now play Rainbow Six Siege on the Xbox One family of consoles, Xbox Series X | S, Windows PC, including Steam, Amazon Luna, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Ubisoft+, and Ubisoft’s subscription service.
