The last update for the critically acclaimed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, “Mask of Darkness,” is now playable on all platforms globally, according to a statement released by Ubisoft today. Sargon’s narrative takes a dramatic turn in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown – Mask of Darkness. In an entirely new connected world composed of unique biomes, players will get the opportunity to explore an epic expansion that expands upon the formula that made this Metroidvania-inspired game so successful.

Radjen, one of the Immortals’ assassination experts, is pursuing Sargon. When he does confront her, he finds himself imprisoned in her Mind Palace, a perverted realm of evil sorcery full of surreal sights and fantastical structures. In order to discover the mysteries concealed deep within Radjen’s psyche beneath the Mask of Darkness, Sargon must battle his way out of terrifying situations and fierce encounters while under intense manhunt and with his soul in jeopardy.
Players will find four unexpected and bizarre new biomes with over ten different kinds of traversal barriers in this new tale, including lethal traps and ruthless systems like lasers and teleportation portals. They will encounter three epic Bosses and six alien new monster archetypes in between platforming sequences. Three new amulets will provide them with new fighting skills to help them defeat these foes.
The much awaited story DLC is available for $4.99 in suggested retail stores when purchased as a standalone download. The Complete Edition, which retails for $49.99, comes with “Mask of Darkness” in addition to the base game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the Immortals outfit, the Prosperity bird amulet, the DLC, the digital adventure guide, and two new Sargon outfits based on Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. For $9.99, players who are experienced can purchase the Complete Upgrade Pack, which includes 3 clothes for Sargon, 1 amulet, and a digital adventure guide in addition to DLC. The Complete Edition will be immediately upgraded for Ubisoft+ subscribers.
In addition, the Prince of Persia: Warrior Within gear will soon be free for all players, giving fans a taste of the 35th anniversary celebrations of the Prince of Persia franchise.
