For The Third Season, Ubisoft Focuses on Blockchain Technologies and Artificial Intelligence
PARIS, FRANCE — Today, Ubisoft announced a third season of its international start-up program at Station F, the world’s largest start-up campus located in Paris. This season will take place from January to July 2019.
For its third season, Ubisoft has opened a call for start-ups focusing on entrepreneurs from around the world with main activities in blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI).
“These technologies are revolutionizing the way we live, the way we work and the way we entertain. Algorithms and AI have always been core to the gaming industry, and Ubisoft in particular has been exploring for some time new possibilities offered by AI and machine learning to improve the way we craft games. At Station F, Ubisoft wishes to support entrepreneurs using AI, machine learning and deep learning to creatively improve the entertainment experiences themselves. In the same vein, Blockchain allows Ubisoft to recognize and show the value gamers bring with their contributions to the community, and the content they create” says Catherine Seys, Start-up Program Director at Ubisoft’s Strategic Innovation Lab.
All selected start-ups will benefit from a six-month personalized program enabling each entrepreneur to interact with Ubisoft experts as well as partners across the company`s international network.
Ubisoft leads the Gaming and Entertainment program at Station F. One of this goals of this program for Ubisoft is to leverage and share in a win-win relationship its expertise with start-ups and entrepreneurs who are exploring new opportunities for tomorrow’s entertainment industry. Ubisoft’s program at Station F is open to entrepreneurs around the world. Ubisoft aims to expand its start-up programs to other countries in the coming years.
