Eindhoven – PC gaming subscription platform Utomik will showcase 10 new games that will be available day one on Utomik, during gamescom. The selection will showcase both the diversity and quality that indie gaming has to offer. With these releases and sponsorship of the Indie Arena Booth, Utomik supports the underrepresented indie scene, by giving games the attention that they deserve.
The 10 day one releases are all popular indie games, like Coffee Talk, Neverinth, and the newly announced LunaSea that is premiering at gamescom.
Doki Tops, founder and CEO of Utomik stated:
“Launching so many indie games on day one makes it possible for our community to be the first to discover the latest and greatest. At the same time, we’re offering game developers a platform to showcase their new releases. There are many innovative and amazing games, but developers don’t have the resources to gain attention for their work. Previously coming from indie gaming ourselves we understand the difficulty involved and want to help make this easier. Utomik was founded because we believe that every game should get the attention that it deserves. That’s why we feel that it is so important to give the indie games a push at a huge event like gamescom in as many ways as we can.”
The announcement of the day one releases is part of a bigger partnership between Utomik and the Indie Arena Booth at gamescom. Every small or arcade booth will be partly or fully funded by Utomik, enabling as many developers as possible of any size to showcase their games at the biggest gaming show of the year. All day one releases will be highlighted at the dedicated Utomik area and the developers will be available to present their game and to answer visitors’ and media questions.
