Swedish game developer Stunlock Studios have announced today that V Rising, the open-world vampire survival game, continues to reach new heights as it hits the 2 Million sales mark after only a month on Steam Early Access!
The continent of Vardoran has proved a popular place to be for up and coming, newly risen Vampires. Praised for its combat, world building, atmosphere and being one of the most immersive vampiric experiences around, V Rising is currently sitting pretty with over 88% positive reviews from the 31,300 available.
“We, at Stunlock, are very proud of the amazing start V Rising has made since launching on Early Access,” said Rickard Frisegård, CEO of Stunlock Studios. “Our goal is to make the best vampire game possible and this is a clear indicator we are on the right path. We will strive to reward our players with a new, ground breaking survival experience and also satiate any bloodlust.”
In V Rising, you need to survive as a newly awakened vampire in a world ruled by humans and rise to become the next Dracula. Feed on blood to gain new powers, hide from the scorching sun, and engage in real-time PvE and PvP combat set in a dark fantasy realm. Raise your castle and invite friends to join as you explore a vast open world, pillage villages, skirmish with bandits, and delve into the lairs of supernatural beasts. Attack other player’s castles, or become a diplomat in a game of blood, power, and betrayal.
You can download V Rising for $19.99 via Steam
