WAR ROBOTS Remastered to Launch this Fall

The online mobile shooter is getting a graphical overhaul, new animations, revamped maps, UI updates, and brand-new features

 

Developer and publisher, Pixonic, has unveiled a completely remastered version of War Robots for iOS and Android, set for release in Fall 2020. The hit third-person online shooter is Pixonic’s top-grossing title, and recently celebrated its sixth anniversary with over 150 million installations on mobiles worldwide. The game’s visual content will be dramatically improved, with four maps receiving a complete revamp in the upcoming War Robots Remastered update.

WAR ROBOTS Remastered to Launch this Fall

War Robots set new trends in the tactical shooter genre when it was first released, with War Robots Remastered also taking advantage of new technology to ensure that the game is fully armed with state-of-the-art mobile graphics. Players will see significant improvements to the robots, terrain, and weapon effects, including:

  • Fully remastered animations, textures, and geometry for all 58 robots and weapons
  • 100+ modified VFX
  • 4 revamped maps: Canyon, Valley, Moon, and Powerplant
  • Improved lighting on 8 maps
  • Updated UI elements

War Robots Remastered will launch this Fall with four graphics settings available: Performance, Balanced, Quality, and Ultra. The game’s performance on iOS devices will be optimized with the help of Apple’s Metal technology.  Pixonic plans multiple public tests ahead of the Remastered update release, which will be announced on War Robots’ official communities on Facebook, Instagram, VK, YouTube, and Reddit.

War Robots is available via Google Play and the App Store.
