For any fans out there who have ever played Warhammer 40,000, I have good news for you. The beloved miniature wargame by HeroCraft has been brought to life on the Nintendo Switch.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf gameplay works just like the miniature wargame was designed, a turn-by-turn strategy game.
Bringing Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf into the Nintendo switch has opened up a world of joy and possibilities to the game. We have to follow the rules of the game in this turn-based game, but having it on the Switch allows us the opportunity for this world to come to life. As you can see, each move is controlled by how far you can move and what direction your squad is facing. The more you play the more you are able to unlock and select weapons and character customizations.
And with these customizations, you can rain down fire on your enemies. Now in order to defeat your enemies, you have to be smart and plan out your moves. Each turn you are given two moves per trooper in your command; And with these moves you are allowed to pick cards in your command deck. The cards range from basic move options to complex chain combinations that you can set up.
Often you are faced with the choice to either use your card to shoot, move, or even set certain weapons to auto attack when an enemy gets near – which means that if your enemy doesn’t fall for your trap, it can be a wasted move. Other cards have special actions that can be taken, such as auto attacks or the ability to move in unique ways.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf’s gameplay is relentless where your enemies are many and at times it might seem like they will never end.
That is why playing Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf on the Nintendo Switch is so amazing. On the Switch, you are given the option to play a whole new local co-op mode and have the support of your friends.
So in conclusion, Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf is amazing and a must have.
Rating: 8/10
