Raw Fury is excited to announce that Whispers of a Machine, a sci-fi Nordic noir adventure game that takes place in a near future where artificial intelligence is forbidden, has launched today on Windows, Mac, and iOS and Android! (check out our review!)
Take on the role of Vera, a detective from the Central Bureau who has just taken the Blue (a.k.a. has just received cybernetic augmentations), as she heads to a remote part of the world to investigate a string of murders. What starts as a routine case quickly unfolds into something much more with Vera uncovering a plot to resurrect AI, a technology that has been shunned and banned by society. Vera has access to augmentations that are essential in her investigation, and how she interacts with people will determine which augmentations she receives and how people perceive her. Different augmentations provide alternative solutions for puzzles and varying experiences with characters, playthroughs from player to player can be quite different.
Take a Look at the Whispers of a Machine Launch Trailer:
Whispers of a Machine was created by Clifftop Games, the developer behind the award-winning Kathy Rain, and Faravid Interactive, who released the mature investigative drama, The Samaritan Paradox. The voice acting is directed by IGF-nominated adventure game veteran Dave Gilbert (Unavowed, Blackwell series). Lots of adventure game talent here!
