Windows 8.1 rolled out a few days ago, and some players have reported mouse lag as well as cursor jumping in some PC games.
The affected games reported so far are:
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
- Metro 2033, and
- Call of Duty games
Apparently, something has changed in the way Windows updates pointer positions and that seems to be causing the problems. Video games that do not use Raw input seem to be affected the most.
Hopefully, Windows will come up with a fix quickly. We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything.
Have you been experiencing any lag or mouse jumping?
