Due to several closed offices, including the main WIRED Productions HQ, those of their developers and partners, they’ve had to change the release dates of some of their upcoming titles.
In these uncertain times, WIRED does not want to add any additional workload or stress to those who are affected. They also want to ensure they fully support their partners in retail, who are facing particular difficulties in supply chains.
THOSE WHO REMAIN
As a result of these challenges, Those Who Remain will now launch later in June 2020 both digitally on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and physically on PlayStation 4 and PC. This will enable the developers to work with their partners to ensure the game is able to be distributed to all territories on time without disappointment.
DELIVER US THE MOON
Deliver Us The Moon (Check Out our Steam Review!) will launch as planned on April 24th Digitally on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the physical Deluxe Edition now launching in July 2020 to coincide with the Nintendo Switch and Collectors Edition release. Again, this will help to ensure we can work with our partners to ensure the game is able to be distributed to all territories.
The developers appreciate that for many people, physically getting hold of stock may prove to be difficult, and they hope that by moving some of their release dates where necessary, they aid retailers and alleviate some of the pressure that their partners are feeling, whilst ensuring their teams and developers also have the time they need during these difficult and uncertain times.
WIRED ONLINE STORE
It is likely that there will be a delay in the posting of items from the online Wired store. Until the warehouse is back and fully operational, they’re only able to fulfill standard copies of their games, with a delay on our Collector Editions. WIRED will update you once they are able to fulfill these. They have also changed free shipping from over £50, to over £20 to help those who wish to purchase over the coming weeks. Use promo code ‘GetWIRED‘ at checkout to claim this saving.
