The 1920s: a decade when movies, music, and society as a whole underwent massive, pervasive change – and people played tennis in style
Launching next week (May 16) on Android, iOS and Windows 10, World of Tennis: Roaring ’20s will take you on a tennis journey through time with polished visuals, precise swipe-and-tap controls, realistic physics, and an innovative multiplayer mode featuring AI avatars that play just like you.
To start your tennis career, just swipe and tap the screen to aim your shots and run on the court. Customize and develop your player character to become the ultimate tennis pro.
To provide exciting PvP-like matches, Helium9 Games leveraged its background in AI and used machine learning to mimic human behavior. The game’s unique tennis AI system learns from you – and it can even join multiplayer matches as yourself against other players. The result is an idyllic “tennis world” filled with thousands of unique, formidable opponents that play just like their human counterparts!
The developers are tennis and history fans in real life, and their goal with World of Tennis: Roaring ’20s is to create a tennis game that lets players experience the vibrant atmosphere of the 1920s – with a unique visual style anchored by deep tactical play and motion capture for added realism.
