Netherlands creates a stir with a new cruiser and campaign

In the June update, “Skyreaper from the Lowlands” drops anchor in Legendary waters, causing a stir for a new campaign. Admiralty-backed participants in this five-week, 100-mile milestone campaign will be awarded the Premium Dutch Tier VII cruiser De Zeven Provinciën. The Netherlands has recently joined World of Warships: Legends with this ship, which is outfitted with a potent airstrike feature and remarkable fire-setting capabilities. Karel Doorman, a new historical Commander who can join players’ ranks with De Zeven Provinciën, is prepared to take command of this cruiser.

Missions dedicated to the 80th anniversary of D-Day

In honor of the Normandy landings’ 80th anniversary, participants can participate in brand-new, themed missions. Players receive collector cards including details on the landing, the ships involved, and military insignia as a reward for finishing. Players who finish the set will be able to access the French Tier III battleship Courbet 1944, which is permanently camouflaged in a special D-Day design. In addition, players may find in the market a number of historical ships that took part in D-Day, such as Belfast, Texas, and the recently launched destroyer Haida.
