The Arcatraz dungeon has a number of bosses waiting for you.
Asides from garnering plenty of TBC Classic gold and going through Burning Crusade power leveling to get your character up to speed, there is a wealth of information that you need to know about the Arcatraz dungeon. The following article will be discussing the facts that you require to get through Arcatraz in one piece.
Reaching the Dungeon
If you’ve been saving up your WoW TBC Classic gold for a flying mount, then you will have invested smartly. You will need this flying mount to get yourself over to the Arcatraz. The entrance portal is on a platform that only your mount will be able to get to, and you’ll notice that there are different platforms up there. The platform that we are going to is to the one at the highest point, which is to the left.
The Dungeon
The Arcatraz dungeon is a place for you to get WoW TBC items, fight bosses and more. On the first floor, you will come across the level 72 demon, Zereketh the Unbound. To get to the next floor, you’re going to want to get to the north-eastern part of this one. From the entrance, head north, then east to find the location to get to the second floor.
You will have another couple of boss battles to contend with on the second floor. There’s a choice of taking out either Wrath-Scryer Soccothrates or Daliliah the Doomsayer. There is also the key fragment that you can use for the Karazhan attunement too, as well as the staircase to floor number three.
The third floor is the top floor of the dungeon that you need to navigate through. As you traverse the hallway you’ll Udalo, which you need for questing, so make sure to interact. Eventually, you’ll reach the climax of the dungeon with Harbinger Skyriss awaiting your arrival.
Boss Tips
Now that we have a bit more information on the location and layout, we can delve into the bosses that we are going to meet. With a bit of WoW TBC power leveling, we can take these bosses out with the right tips. Let’s start with Zereketh the Unbound.
The damage that you are inflicting should be far apart as well as you can. The use of the Seed of Corruption is a boss method here, and keep out of the radius of any void zones. As for the Shadow Nova attack, you should be able to keep your distance from it easily enough. However, if you’re playing the game on Heroic difficulty, then be aware of the extended range that it has. It can be a tough fight, but it is also optional. If your gear isn’t quite up to speed, then you might as well avoid fighting it until you are ready to come back to it.
The next boss, Dalliah the Doomsayer, is an arguably easier fight. One of your main tasks is to try and stop her from healing herself. With the casting of Heal, she can recover a lot of her health. The use of Gift of the Doomsayer debuff may heal the boss as well, so use it only when necessary.
When you get onto Wrath-Scryer Soccothrates, you will have the job of backing away as much as possible if you’re playing as a tank. The Knock Away attack is something you need to avoid, after which the boss will charge at someone at random. You can take a ranged approach to this fight, just look out for the charge that could potentially be coming your way. Tanks can then approach after the boss move has been completed.
Finally, we have Harbinger Skyriss. Before this fight, you have to finish the mini event that’s required of you. There are four different prison cells to contend with, with monsters to fight within them. There are a few attacks to be looking at too, such as Complete Domination. If any players are hit with this, then you should use any crowd control abilities that you have. The boss summons illusions, so be sure to use a raid marker to begin the fight. With the right gear, you will be able to consistently attack this boss as you won’t be too focused on cooldowns.
You can choose to go and buy TBC gold, or even buy WoW TBC account if you wish. This is a bit of a shortcut to get around the preparations for this dungeon. That said, you shouldn’t run into too many issues as long as you can deal with the bosses accordingly. It never hurts to prepare of course, and doing this will help you breeze through the Arcatraz dungeon.
