Bloober Team unveiled more than nine minutes of brand-new Cronos: The New Dawn gameplay today during the Xbox @ gamescom Broadcast. Wojciech Piejko, the game director for Cronos, leads players around the abandoned plant, which is the epicenter of the illness that wiped out humanity in the 1980s.
Check out the gamescom Cronos: The New Dawn Into The Factory Gameplay Showcase:
New aspects of the world that contribute to Cronos’ all-consuming aura are revealed by the abandoned factory. The Traveler moves carefully past the abandoned military tents of those who initially attempted—and failed—to eradicate the disease we call The Change, into cramped quarters, and through biomasses that consume the facility’s original fittings.
One thing should be clear to players from this closer look at fighting the mutant enemies: winning will be difficult, and the secret to discovering Cronos’s deeper plot is skillful resource management and environmental awareness.
Cronos: The New Dawn is slated to release on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Epic, and Nintendo Switch 2.
YOu can pre-order Cronos: The New Dawn now for PC via Steam, Epic, Gog.com, Microsoft Store, Nintendo and PlayStation. Preordering the Deluxe Edition gives players 48 hours of early access beginning on Wednesday, September 3.
