Over this past weekend, 3D Realms features new reveals and surprised during its REALMS DEEP 2023 showcase. Three new games were announced during the showcase – Twisted Tower (check out our impressions!), Bloodless, and The Kindeman Remedy.
In addition, the company showcased its new branding, which includes a new logo, a brand new website, as well as a new slogan – “Redefining AAA: Action, Attitude, Adrenaline.”

3D Realms announced it is partnering with developer Thomas Brush and Atmos Games to publish Twisted Tower, a macabre action-adventure shooter mixing BioShock with Willy Wonka. Fight for survival through an ever-changing tower that plays host to a nightmarish game show. Each twisting floor has a variety of paths to choose, horrifying enemies to slaughter, deadly traps to avoid, and clues about your dark past to uncover. Watch the trailer HEREPrepare to brave the terrors of the future – RIPOUT, the co-op horror FPS from developer Pet Project Games, has announced it will launch into Early Access on October 24, just in time for Halloween! Face off against mutant monstrosities able to adapt their bodies in grotesque ways. Explore procedurally generated derelict spaceships, use your trusty pet gun to rip weaponry off enemies, collect loot, and customize your character to survive whatever dangers lurk around the corner. The console version of RIPOUT is still in development and will benefit from the community’s feedback in Steam Early Access. Watch the trailer HERETempest Rising is bringing back the classic spirit of the RTS greats of the ‘90s and 2000s with modern performance and production values, and 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks made that clear with the reveal that the game’s soundtrack will feature music tracks created by renowned Command & Conquer franchise composer Frank Klepacki! Lead three asymmetrical factions into battle in a world where the Cuban Missile Crisis went nuclear across two epic single-player campaigns and ranked multiplayer. Watch the trailer HEREA new nightmare in sims is coming… 3D Realms has revealed it is publishing developer Troglobytes Games’ The Kindeman Remedy, a unique horror management game and spiritual successor to the smash hit Ravenous Devils, launching for PC on November 16. Embrace your inner mad scientist and team up with a diabolical nun in a grim prison where no one is watching over your shoulder. Rig executions, conduct secret experiments on inmates, upgrade your lab, and do what you must in the name of science to discover your elusive cure-all, ethics be damned. Watch the trailer HERE3D Realms also announced that it is publishing Bloodless, a stylish, retro-inspired action-adventure game set in the age of the samurai. Battle bare-fisted against the sword-wielding armies of Shogun Akechi, using ronin Tomoe’s signature dash-counter mechanic to disarm her former allies. Precise, fast-paced combat, atmospheric environments, and emotional storytelling make Bloodless one to watch out for. Watch the trailer HERE
