Meaty combo of featured titles, side events and Artist Alley on deck
for 2D fighter tourney
Torrance, Calif. – Aksys Games today unveiled the roster of games planned for the fourth Anime Ascension, running from February 15 through February 17 at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine, Calif. Featured games at the west coast’s largest anime-focused fighting game tournament will include Guilty Gear Xrd REV2, BlazBlue Central Fiction, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.
Side games include Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, Sailor Moon S, Million Arthur: Arcana Blood, and Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Ignition. Aksys Games will again add $6,000 bonus prize money to the pool, $2,000 each for Guilty Gear Xrd REV2, BlazBlue Central Fiction, and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st].
Registration runs through February 1st, so time is ticking! The venue fee is $55 with a $10 registration fee for each of the main games in addition to the venue fee. Spectator passes are available for $10 per day and include access to side games. Applications form for the Artist Alley will be available this week as well, and booths are free of charge.
