BRIGANDINE ABYSS Demo is Heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2 on July 30

In advance of the strategy role-playing game’s August console and PC release, NIS America, Inc. is thrilled to announce that the BRIGANDINE ABYSS demo will be available for the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on July 30. You may now play the BRIGANDINE ABYSS demo in 60 frames per second for PC via Steam.

On July 30, start playing the first two seasons of the Scarlet Will and Gran Dragnica story campaigns! Join Largo as he investigates the cause of the dragons’ transformation into evil pawns, or support Garnet as her group defies the Abyssloa Empire. Before engaging in the hexagonal grid-based tactical conflicts of BRIGANDINE ABYSS during the Invasion Phase, recruit monsters, send troops on quests, and prepare your attack during the Organization Phase. (Save data cannot be moved from the demo to the full version.)

A brand-new game in the legendary series, BRIGANDINE ABYSS offers a totally different universe that even new players can explore. The strength of the magical Brigandine halted the Abyssloa Empire hundreds of years ago. Now, eager to take over the planet, a new Abyssloa Empire emerges from the ashes. In one of six distinct tale campaigns, manage resources, mobilize your monsters, and resist the empire while facing the dark.

Go to Mission Mode for a fresh perspective on Brigandine, where you can assume the role of one of 24 distinct factions, each with unique win requirements! You’ll have hundreds of hours of fun with BRIGANDINE ABYSS, whether you want to take it easy or test your tactical skills!

The game will be divided into three stages, regardless of whether you choose to play via the story or Mission Mode. During the Organization Phase, gather your troops and supplies; during the Attack Phase, give the order to attack enemy strongholds; and during the Invasion Phase, take to the battlefield! BRIGANDINE ABYSS offers players something to ponder while preserving the distinctive hexagonal-grid-based tactical gameplay of the series. If you want to succeed in the battlefield, you must take into account your abilities, elemental qualities, and the growth of your armies!

BRIGANDINE ABYSS Key Features:

  • Confront the Dark: The Abyssloa Empire rises again, and it’s up to you to stop them. Choose from one of six different story campaigns to find out the truth—or keep it hidden.
  • Victory Is in the Details: Spreading your influence won’t be easy. Manage your resources, maneuver your troops, and bind your fates with monsters to make sure you can stand up to anyone. Then, take to the field and reap the rewards!
  • Fight for Your Faction: In Mission Mode, play as one of 24 different factions, each with their own unique win condition. Play one or play them all in this endlessly replayable strategy RPG!

Pre-orders for the BRIGANDINE ABYSS Limited Edition are now available for $89.99. A copy of BRIGANDINE ABYSS for the Nintendo Switch 2 or PlayStation 5, artwork from the Abyss artbook, the original Anthems of War soundtrack, acrylic stands of Storied Figures, a set of Faction Symbol pins, and a cloth map of Meltitea are all included in the Limited Edition bundle.

On July 30 at 5:00 PM PST, join at r/jrpg for a Reddit AMA featuring Saito Masaru, the producer of BRIGANDINE ABYSS. The NIS America staff will translate any queries you have about the upcoming game. To help you get ahead of the crowd, the AMA will begin accepting questions an hour early!

Digital pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S will be available on July 9th at 12:00 A.M. PDT.
