Construction Simulator 3 Review for Android

Construction Simulator 3

The app installment of Construction Simulator 3 by astragon Entertainment and weltenbauer is a fun game and has really nice graphics considering it’s on a mobile device. Get ready to be in the life of a semi-average construction worker who has the choice to disable traffic laws at the press of a button.

Construction Simulator 3 runs pretty smoothly but I did encounter it freezing up a few times; it wasn’t a big deal that restarting the app couldn’t fix, but I would just like to point that out to potential buyers. The game is fun and takes a while for you to get used to –  there’s a lot that the tutorial covers and it tells you what to do in full detail every step of the way. There is also an option to go back to the tutorials just in case you ever forget how to do something.

I forgot that the game is a ‘simulator’ at times so I kind of just ended up breaking a lot of traffic rules along the way; it’s a good way to stay on your toes though! The controls are easy to use – there’s a slider along the bottom line of the screen that functions as your left and right direction controls and you can even change the view of the camera. The menu is pretty easy to navigate as well, the reverse button is right next to the gas button and is clearly marked with a distinct ‘arrow’ symbol so you don’t get confused.  At the top of the screen, you’ll see a button with a clipboard icon and that’ll tell you what mission you have to do in case you decide to take a break or forget what mission you left off on. You can even fast travel to destinations like the store or back to the garage but if it’s a different location you’ll have to pay.

The mobile version of Construction Simulator 3 actually includes 2 new features, which are a cockpit view from all vehicles and machines, and the second feature is a Liebherr LB 28 rotary drilling rig which can be used to building bridges and used in other missions. Construction Simulator 3 has 70 missions in total and 50 kinds of vehicles you can unlock along the way. It’s a good way to pass time and every mission is unique – one could be demolishing a building – the next is planting trees. The change of pace is nice. However, If you do get bored you could always just break the traffic laws like a madman and lose all your money but remember, the goal of the game is to build your own company, so keep that in mind.

The dialogue between you and your boss is also a plus because there’s some choice snarky comments spoken. You’ll never get bored thanks to the different vehicles and mechanics that come along with using them. The only complaint I have about Construction Simulator 3 is that the world could be a bit bigger but other than that I give the app game a 9 out of 10.

Hello there, I got into video games at a very young age and my first console was actually the Super Nintendo, I still have it to this day and have quite a collection of games for it. I play a lot of games ranging from different genres like fighting games, i.e Tekken and Street Fighter, RPG's i.e Dark Souls and Final Fantasy, side-scrollers, visual novels, MMO's, Shooters, and Horror. The more violent and story drove the better!. But, as I mentioned before my range for videogame genres has no bounds, I'll play anything as long as it's fun!
