A few days ago, Codemasters released a teaser trailer for Grid 3 and today, the developer announced the racer’s release date.
Some of the new features of Grid: Autosport include the single-player career, which will allow you to become a professional racing driver. As you progress through the game, you will have the ability to join and switch teams, fulfill sponsor demands, and beat rivals.
In addition, racing with a teammate feature is back, and they will have the ability to attack the cars ahead or defend their position.
As far as multiplayer, which is powered by RaceNet, the following features are available:
- Join with friends to form Racing Clubs and race under team colors against other clubs in the community
- Receive new challenges every week with the new and evolved Discipline Challenge
- Track your stats, including your complete vehicle history
- Climb weekly with persistent leaderboards
Grid: Autosport launches June 24th in North America and June 27 across Europe for PS3.
